Gardening question .... to edge naturally or with (nicer) plastic edging?

mdpellegrinApril 19, 2013
I will be redoing and expanding these gardens. What is the better, nicer, more professional look?

Is it personal preference? Going for a more tidy and trim look with mulched beds.

Thank you

Just personal preference: I prefer natural edges over plastic. In our back garden we used brick to delineate all of the flower beds, to go with our patio; in the front of our house we went with well manicured natural edges.

I love natural edges - they just require the odd slice from time to time

Buy a good edger. Manicured natural edges and dark mulched beds is the way to go.
