Grass options

We love this design but our groundsman in France is apprehensive the pool will become easily contaminated with grass cuttings when the grass is mowed.

Also, is there a potential mud creation problems with children's wet feet trampling all around the pool?

If there is high traffic around the pool, you may want to have a larger boarder of stone around the pool. A larger boarder would also relieve some worries about the pool getting contaminated when mowing the lawn. Otherwise, having grass so close to the pool shouldn't be a problem. A simple one over the pool with a net would get rid of any grass floating.

stupid question... i take it the grass is not man made? i have heard man made is better near the pool so the salt or chemicals dont kill it. your thoughts? tks mike
