Trying to decide on countertop.
I really like the Shitake ceasarstone, but am worried that the beige would clash with the grey in the marble backsplash. I also like the Pebble:) thx

What finish is your cabinetry? Stain or paint? Either way, I think that the Raven Ceasarstone will give you the most punch in the room when it is finished. It will sort of anchor all of the soft colors that are going on in the other materials.

This probably won't help with your decision because I like the Shitake best. I'm assuming that your cabinetry is white. Have you decided on hardware?

My cabinets are going to be white with chrome hardware and chandelier. I should also mention that the home is in Florida and has a water view. My designer is making sure that the marble has beige veining as well as grey. This is what the kitchen looks like now... The wall where the stove is will be coming down to make a bar area that is open to the living room. Third pic is the wall that is coming down. Ceilings will all be vaulted.

Anyone else want to vote for the countertop color? Need more votes before I decide.

I like the Shitake as well. It reminds me of wet sand, would go well since you are near the water. The other two colors look like thunder clouds. They're beautiful, but not my first choice. The palette you've chosen looks awesome!

Hi Darlene, I like Raven the best and it looks great with white cabinets. It has less pattern than both Shitake and Pebble and therefore will not compete with your marble back splash and tile floor.

It's hard to tell on the monitor, but what colors are in the tile flooring? Thanks.

The floor tile is beige with cream and gray, sort of marble like, matte finish.

I love Shitake as well. It's not too matchy and complements the wall color. Your kitchen will be beautiful!

I would go with the Raven. The contrast of the dark and light gives visual definition.

that last post was a year ago!!
Maybe Darlenerunner can update us with what she decided and how her kitchen turned out.
We'd love to see it!
