questions about slate porcelain tile

has anyone used a slate porcelain tile for their kitchen flooring? I am redoing a kitchen in southern Florida and thought it would look good with white cabinets and blue pearl granite.

We did and love it! Our cabinets are a honey oak. The counters in our kitchen are green laminate (for now). The dark colors of the flooring help hide dirt and "ground" the look of the cabinets.

We sell and install porcelain tile that looks like slate pretty regularly. It is a wonderful maintenance free flooring choice, and all of the color variety and interest that it brings to a space is beautiful.

It sounds like it will be a lovely kitchen! You cannot go wrong with the durability of porcelain.
