Attached is the photo of the new beam installed next to where the pool table will be. Pool table to be in front of wall.

would it be possible to do some type of outdoor fixture mounted to the wall that cantilevers over the table? Something like one of these gooseneck fixture: [houzz=Outback Gooseneck Light] [houzz=Exterior Shower] [houzz=Boat House]

Another good one! What is the length of the armature for these fixtures? The house we are re-modeling is in another city from where we are now. It will be mid-May before we are able to visit it again and take some measurements to determine the size/length of the light fixtures armature.

I don't know the length of the armature. These are just photos I found on Houzz. I suspect you'll be able to find one that will work though.
