Paint color that will go with Silver Sage?

I am painting my kitchen RH Silver Sage. The living room and dining room are open concept and flow into the kitchen. What color paint would work with Silver Sage? I would like a light neutral/off white but not sure if that will work.

Are you planning to paint this piece pictured above? Is that what you're trying to compliment with the silver sage walls?

Bright kitchen nook like this with dining/living room flowing into it> don't want house to look choppy.

I'm thinking a gray based neutral, more like a light taupe. The color posted above looks like more yellow based to me.

Or you could do the silver sage in a 25% or 50% mix, to lighten it up and use that in the dining/living room area.

Its funny you mention that because I also have some left over for the bedroom. Such a great color. But that would be too much! Only thing I have so far for the LR/DR is Blue Dawn silk drapes from Pottery Barn.

Can you attach a picture or link to the drapes?

Please forgive a gratuitous comment, but the stack of books tableau is just too contrived.

linen white? it's a good neutral cream that works with sage you have and silvery blue of the curtains you have. Linen White from Benjamin Moore

Greetings! I love RH's Silver Sage, excellent color. To pair with that, I'd go with a warm-ish (but not too pink) neutral like Ben Moore's "Manchester Tan". I've used that color many a time with amazing results, and it'd look very sharp behind your off-white framed photos in the LR. It's a sophisticated neutral that makes everything look amazing. Cheers!

Look at dark beige, taupe. Many paint colors are available. Also try Restoration Hardware, paint colors. They go great with sage green, with your color selection.

2. Restoration Hardware, website-Paint listing.

I like Slate collection:

I like Manchester Tan but afraid it might be too dark. These rooms are north facing unlike the bright sunny kitchen.

Take a look at BM vale mist 1494. It is darker than the piece you posted, but with BM simply white woodwork, it is stunning. I just used this for a client's kitchen/family room.

Manchester Tan is a great color for outdoors, as exterior paint choice but without sun it looks grayish, I doubt this choice for a north facing room. Linen White from BM (912) has some ochre in it so looks creamy and not gray even under the northern light.

Restoration hardware has other similar colors too such as light silver sage which to me looks more blueish or go with a light grey

If all the rooms flow together then consider painting them all silver sage. Accent with lots of off whites in the furniture and trims.
