What goes well with brown stained oak?

I have a few small tables in brownish stained oak. I also have a brown/black grand piano. The floors are natural oak. I would like to complete my rooms with storage furniture/bookcases from R&B. What kind of wood is a good match? They offer cherry, walnut, maple and ebony. Do I look for a stark contrast (walnut,ebony) or a more subtle solution (cherry)
