These Board and Batten shutters are beautiful! Timberlane has a variety of shutter styles and colors available. This seems to be similar to our "Colonial Times Blue" and our "Blue Topaz." We are also able to custom color match any color.

I had the shutters custom made. The paint color was also custom with a glaze over it.

I just do not understand these shutters where the arch angles out. I know it's supposed to look like they're thrown open, but I'm guessing they're not functional. So they just look like they're on the wrong side!

shutters are designed as if they are functional - so when closed, they would fully cover an arch-top window/door.

You mention that the shutters are a custom color with a custom Glaze. Can you tell me what brand of glaze is appropriate for exterior or is this a regular Gemini type glaze on the exterior. How does it hold up?
