Main bedroom makeover help...please!?

Hello, just moved into a new house and I want to makeover our bedroom. I've attached an idea board for where I'd like to take the design of the room but I'm not sure if I'm going in the right direction...I don't really know what I'm doing actually. I'd like the headboard to be a little lighter, so with that in mind...can someone please assist me and let me know what I can change/add to complete this design. Thank you!

I like the direction you are going, my only doubt is the color of the picture frames. I think they take away from the photos. Maybe consider painting the wall behind the bed in red. I would add one more color to the scheme as well. Either something bright to pop or a darker gray to ground the red. The pic below shows a pop of orange- but yellow would work as well.
