Love the sink/countertop - did you consider a marine edge?
May 5, 2013 in Photo Questions
Hi - I love your work! I am about to do a stainless countertop in my kitchen and am thinking about a marine edge, but I like the look you achieved without it. Was the smooth edge by design or did you consider a marine edge to keep water etc. from spilling over?

Thanks for the compliment! The smooth edge was done out of preference. Marine edges are great if you're worried about a lot of spills etc. but aren't completely necessary. I actually have never done a kitchen counter (out of any material) with this style of lip because none of my clients have found it necessary. Implementing a marine edge would sill look clean but would add to the overall cost for sure (especially if you have a lot of corners and angles like this installation has). Hope this helps! Best of luck with your project...
