I need a color!
May 5, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Hi there! We're remodeling our bathroom. The vanity is slate (a soft black), the granite counter is a combo of black, grays and whites. Toilet, sink and tub are white. All the fixtures are a brush nickel. I have no idea what color to paint the walls. Do I do a "pop" of color (what color?) OR just do white?
Sorry I don't have a picture to show, nothing is installed yet.
HELP!!!! Please send me some ideas....

With black, white and grey you have a variety of colors you can go with: yellows, teals, sea green, grey green, grey blue, raspberry, but you didn't mention the floor--what color is the floor? Tile, wood? More info would help, what are your favorite colors? Is this bathrrom the main or the master? What colors are in adjacent room? Etc., etc.

Floor is tile is on a light side and the shower tile is a soft black! This is the main bathroom. The adjacent room is our sons room which has stripes of browns and blues.

So you could go with a soft grey on walls and then go crazy with bright colors for towels and accessories, yes?

And a bright white on the ceiling so it wouldn't start feeling like a cave!
