Yes, more pics to help us get the whole picture! See if you can get around that front left side. Looks like brick? As posted above, close-ups help!

I'd go for the colors of the foliage and tree trunks that surround the house, but I like a blended in look when you are in a woodsy location.

Have you thought of enclosing the area under the front porch? Could be used for storing mower, etc.

And one great addition for your curb appeal would be to create a mounded area between the parking pad and the street. I would also carry it over to the right side of the driveway, as if one unit. Plant a tree that won't end up as massive: dogwood would be nice. Add some mosses, or grasses or low flowering shrubs.

Run electrical out to the parking pad and at the corner add a nice looking post and light.

Finally, an inexpensive DIY project is to stain the driveway. We did our large, hot and glaring drive in a few hours and added a rich look and helped so much to "soften" the hardscape.

Thanks for the ideas!!!! I am moving the stair case to the front to give it more of an entrance also! Never thought about the stained drive way! CAn you send me a pic of it? I would love to see it and I especially love DiY projects!

@pcmom1 I have thought about enclosing the bottom bc it's such an Odd area. I was thinking barn doors? Anyone have suggestions on the front entrance staircase? I have so many ideas I just can't decide! But I also have a budget too!!!

Some red brick houses with tan and/or grey and/or white trims below.
In the Netherlands most houses are made of (red) brick and the majority has cream trims and dark green or oxblood red doors (and shutters). Personally I prefer warm greys and charcoal with breight red or stained doors.
A pergola on the left part of the house (extending the porch line) would break the large surface. I think besides some paint landscaping will give you the inviting homey feel you're looking for.

I like your idea of enclosing the space under the stairs. This area could be a place for a handy storage space. Installing barn doors or a reclaimed barn door would function well and look great. See many options here: http://rusticahardware.com/barn-door-hardware/
