We want to paint one side where the wall has wood panels different color than the other side wall. What are two best earth tone colors that would go well? We are thinking turtle green for wood panels and either khaki or wicker for rest of living room. Would this look dark? Any suggestions is appreciate

the khaki looks as though has similar tones to the brick in places ?! so could tie in well !!??

The turtle green looks like it has a bluish cast to it. Perhaps a green with more yeallow in it would blend better in the room, more of a natural type green. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/landscape

Using the khaki will make the fireplace come out more, without giving too much contrast with it. Need to see all 4 walls to tell you whether to use more than one color.

The Khaki or wicker is going to look like stark white instead of earth-tone. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/almondbisque

But she said they are using the green on the paneled fireplace wall.

Hi, pdowdel, I agree with Nancy Walton's suggestion very much. Maybe here will give you more creative idea.

Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I will take more pictures when I have a chance. So do you guys suggest I paint the wood panels more of the almond color and the rest of the room grey? I like the idea that if I paint the wood panel almond it would make the fireplace stand out more.
