Preferred Lap Siding - Hardie or Certainteed?
May 18, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Hello - we are building a new home on Whidbey Island and trying to determine which is the superior product - James Hardie lap siding or Certainteed lap siding - anticipating using the 4" exposure look and the wood grain lookalike product and there will also be stone worked into the front and side walls. Also looking at the Hardie Artisan lap siding, in which case would go with smooth.

Thoughts? Experiences? Which is the superior product? Thanks!

Rockin' Fine Finish

This is the smooth hardie which I think is a lot nicer than the wood grain stuff especially on a 4 inch reveal
