"Need help choosing paint colors for house exterior"

I'd like to keep the natural cedar wood that is on the front porch, but trying to choose a main color and trim for the rest of my house. The house is in the woods, and some color would be nice because our winters are long and grey.

But I love this colour!!! Compared to the usual greys, beiges and taupes - this is so picturesque (if somewhat glacial). Is this a new home, or just a decision because you are tired of this colour....?

Unless your house needs repainting I would consider painting all the white window trim in the darker green (?) color. It looks good on your garage and the porch posts. But it is hard to tell as we can't see your roof color which I am sure is not white :-)

"natural" colors look best with this style of home.

A brighter than average barn red would give it a lot of presence.
