DIY garden stone patio/landing/walk advice

kambrosettiMay 21, 2013
I have dug up an area where I want to make a garden stone landing and small walk to the driveway. I want it to look natural with grass growing in between the stones. Should I just lay the stones and sweep in topsoil, add grass seed and water? I don't need sand to level it if the soils loose right? Any advice is appreciated! Pics are what I have done so far

I would still level it out as much as you can, there is going to be some natural settling that happens with rain and weather changes
