I have seen this question asked several different ways... I am new to this site. Is there another place that the designer is supposed to answer the questions??

No - the designers are not obligated to answer questions ... But I'm pretty sure this is crackled glass - up-lit

It looks like laminated glass. Basically, two pieces of glass with polyvinyl in between. They are bonded together by heat. There can also be multiple layers. You can get many different effects, designs and colours. I'm thinking about using as a kitchen backsplash.

What is the name of this chandelier? I really like it! Also, is the glass counter top more expensive than granite?

Actually I do not think this particular project if from us. We usually show the beautiful edges of our glass. We do not laminate glass, thus removing all chemicals element from the product. We melt glass into one pure block of glass. In the process we texture the bottom of the glass according to the client choice. Fingerprint will not show because of the textured bottom. Our glass is impossible to stain and at 1.5 inch thick (or more!) it is very durable and strong. The visual impact of glass in any setting is quite powerful. A beautiful, noble material.
