Moving to new home and want a change from brown & teal. Keeping my large choc brown corner sofa and brown carpet. All new walls are currently magnolia but would like to paint one wall a colour and matching accessories. I have patio doors leading to garden and room is light and airy, would like to keep this feel. I also have pine furniture. Thanks, Laura xx

I think brown and teal look great together -- actually my favorite outfit is brown and teal.

Do you have any photos of the new space that you can share?

I've had Brown & Teal for almost 2 years now and as new place thinking new fresh start, even tho I do like the teal just bored of it now I guess. Yeah I can put pic on now (try to anyway) but can get better pics tomorrow. Thanks :) xx

Dont know if you can tell from pic 2 but lounge is down a few steps from main entrance and open plan, theres no lounge door so even though want to keep it light I would like it warm n homely too if you know what I mean?xx

Do not do an accent wall unless you have something to accent. Chocolate sofa and chocolate rug? Palladian blue, Limesickle, Stratton Blue, Hollingsworth Green with Simply White trim…all Benjamin Moore.

With brown you could use: cafe au lait, medium silver gray, dark gray, and gold as a color palette.
