Painting old wooden floor 'red'
May 25, 2013 in Design Dilemma
New to Houzz. I posted a dilemma several days ago about painting old wooden floors in a room with exposed brick walls. Suggestions were, among others, to go red. WOW... I've tried it and am not certain.. its pretty exciting, different... my husband and I are kinda thinking... take a look. I will post my next dilemma for this room which is some recent repairs and encasing of a duct in this room. I chose 'bead board' and a shelf... and the painter painted this clean white to match trim. We don't have a lot of funds to redo but can build shelves.. etc. Also we are Professors and eclectic and I've seen a lot of Houzz examples where I wonder if instead of bead board... we could ... I don't know... collage with all sorts of wood strips or something.... open to creative solutions/ideas
