Bathroom sink shape - what's the best

We are remodeling in South Carolina and are ready for bathroom sinks. Are rectangular sinks still popular or should I stick with oval? The house is "transitional" but the guest bath will have a beachy theme. We already have the faucets so it has to be an undermount.

Rectangular sinks are good looking and get my vote. You may want to consider one of these Decolav sinks for your guest bath which would be fun and fit in with the beach theme.

Rectangle shapes are more practical and timeless design.

Square would be fun if you could find them?

I installed this Kallista sink recently for a client and I think it is a great transitional shape.
