I have enclosed area under my lakehouse (future retirement home). It will essentially be guest quarters for my frequent family and friends. I have one bedroom, a bathroom with large open shower and kitchenette along wall. I am trying to pick a flooring that is really nice looking but is very water- resilient, as waterproof as possible. since we have a lot of dogs in our family, I need a product that is very sound absorbing as well as temperature adjusting. tile is too hard, so I am hoping to find one of the new easy care products. But could it also be used in bath area, or would i need to consider tile there? Help! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I would recommend sticking to tile in the bathroom.
