Feature Wall Color/Placement Help

Here is my current open lr/kitchen. A mid-value grey sectional sofa will replace the sofa/love seat in two weeks. Leaning toward an all grey wall paint palette (one lighter and one almost black). Which walls should be light and which should be dark? Any or better suggestions would be greatly appreciated as my painter is due to start next week!
