Feathering My Empty Nest
June 9, 2013 in Before & After
Just as our last daughter headed for college, my husband got an offer he couldn't refuse clear across the country in Los Angeles. We figured it was time to downsize anyway, sold our family home in Naples FL and bought a tiny cottage close to the beach in Santa Monica. We've gutted it, raised and pitched the ceiling, added to it and completely renovated it. We've moved in, although there's still plenty left to do. Come join our journey and please leave comments at:

Very nice! What a great start. Love the porches on the home...Lots of opportunities to sit out and enjoy all that California sunshine.
