Need help. Linoleum glue on hardwood.

I ripped up carpet in the hallway to find linoleum glued to hardwood. I got the linoleum up but struggling to get the glue up. Any suggestions?

Have a lab check for asbestos before you go any further. You send them a sample, the test runs $50 or so in my area.

Use a paint, varnish and glue remover. I have had good luck with a product called Super Remover DS.

Maybe you could rent a floor sander. This would be much easier and faster!
