Were different shades of pecan wood used to achieve the color variation or is this just naturally how pecan wood looks?

The variation from board to board is commonly how it it is delivered.
Using a clear seal instead of a stain, keeps the batch variation prominent.

Absolutely LOVE this colour pallet. I have a very similar dark grey as my accent wall (over my fire place) but cannot find the right shade of the lighter grey. Do you still have the record of this grey you have used (the lighter shade). Thanks so much!!!! Monique
