Need help with power room

Hi. About 11 years ago I renovated a powder room. I installed a black granite floor and insisted on a black toilet. We converted an antique dresser into a sink. I loved it at the time. Now it looks dated to me. My question is: Can I keep the black granite floor and replace the toilet with a white one? The walls are a red toile wallpaper, which I would take down. Can a white toilet work on a solid black floor? Thanks!

I think a white toilet will be fine on black floor.

Absolutely a white toilet will work on a black floor. What color is your sink?

Black and white is always timeless... Make sure your sink is also white.

Are you keeping the antique dresser converted into sink? I'd love to see a picture. :)

Sorry, I don't have a better shot of the dresser. The dropped in sink is also black. I would change that to white also and probably get rid of the gold. It's a pretty bathroom, I would just like to give it a makeover without the expense of a new floor.

It is beautiful, it's one example where I really like a black sink. But I get that you're ready for a change, and with the black and white I think it's a good idea to go with silver metal finishes.
Can't wait to see how it turns out, please post as you go along if you can!

If you wanted the powder room to be black and white it might look like this

Why go to such extremes? There are plenty of fixture colors that would coordinate with the background color in your wallpaper better and give it a rich look.
