What was used to insulate the AGA against the kitchen cupboards?

We are moving a Stanley wood stove into our new kitchen and are wondering how to approach the non combustable surface required on the end of the cupboards butting up to the Stanley. Would be interested to know what was done here.

We did nothing on the side of cooker, but we did on the floor based on specs for our situation , you may need to go on-line for the Stanley wood stove ,The cooker weighed a ton so we did support floor and tiled base .
