Need help with landscaping this side of house

This side of the house, with the eyebrow window, faces the street. I need to change the look to something that is eye-catching and fits the area well. The previous owners had huge, overgrown evergreen trees at each end; hiding the brick elevation & window. Need ideas on what to put in bed to make all that brown brick space look not so empty and blank. Bed faces north & is not wide. I added two holly bushes at each end, but feel it will be years before they are tall enough to have the right spatial appearance for an overall cohesive effect. I am open to any and all suggestions, THANK YOU!

Hello! Would you be able to put some panels and paint them? Or even paint the brick a color to make them stand out? Also, adding some really bright flowers to the bed below can help make it stand out too.

Fill in the empty spots with colorful annuals until the shrubs get larger.
