I just want to design a kitchen that is roomy and has a lot of counter space and storage space. But which one looks better to give that type of feeling?

Eww... not the last one. Far too heavy in style for a roomy look.

Both give that feeling.
Go with the one that matches the style/vintage of your home.

Depends on the size of your kitchen in the first place ......
Small kitchens can be made so that every available space is utilised ....
But if you are lucky enough to have a large kitchen. Then sky's the Limit
I love the first one not just because its red
The second one looks like they live in a cave if that's YOUR style then go for it......they both would be a talking point for your visitors .......

Commission a designer to come up with a design that not only suits your room dimensions - but suits YOU !!
And if you really like the 'organic look' and if it suits the rest of your home - go for it - but the poll may reveal that it's to a very limited taste - so if this isn't your forever home - I'd recommend you play it safe instead !!
