I don't know if the word Spectacular has been used for your work, but it fits. What a comforting space. There isn't a thing I would change. Are the hardwood floors a special stain?

Thank you for the comments. The hardwoods are stained in a custom made that was created on site.

what are your suggestions on stain colors to recreate this awesome ceiling stain? I notice the variations in the wood colors, is this the application technique or various stain colors used to create this variation. It's awesome and exactly what I've been searching for in my enclosed summer kitchen addition. Thanks so much for sharing any suggestions that might help!

We love this ceiling stain too! The wood is burnt hickory and unfortunately we do not have an exact color for the stain, we just played around with various stains until we came up with a mix to use on the wood. I would recommend taking a piece of wood that you will be using and come up with some stain mixes to paint on the wood sample in various places.

What a great room! How deep is the dropped seating "table" and is this at standard table height(30")? Thanks!
