I've recently gutted and am renovating my master bath. Almost ready to paint. Any suggestions on a color? I'm stumped!!

Not really, I'm open to whatever. I tend to play it safe with grays and beiges though:) but I do like color!

Beautiful bathroom! Sherwin Williams has a color called totally tan that would go perfect with the whole bathroom, floor and shower.

Look around your houses for large pieces of cloth like sheets, blankets etc and drape the vanity and you can bring your choices down more visually. Pillow cushions etc, anything, even a favorite piece of clothing. Color is changed by the light in the room and personal preference. Will you need a "shower curtain" or is it glass doors or open? If you have to have the curtain, find it first and then choose a color to go with it. Beige and grey are "safe" when you are not sure about color and they are earth tones so blues and greens tend to add color without adding a punch.

I am at the same point in time with my master bath Reno.....I'm looking at meander blue by sherwin Williams....sort of a watery blue...does not seem too bright or too gray....has any one else used it?

You've already made great choices with your tile and vanity. When choosing a color for the bathroom it is important for the color to feel clean and not muddy. My suggestions are to either choose a color to match the tile (you can use the Color911 app to photograph it and pull out the color) or select a clean feeling blue. A few people have mentioned blues, but what is most important in choosing the color is to remember to err on the brighter side and to not go muddy. You can always bring in chocolatey brown and bright white towels to add contrast, a designers trick for eye candy!

Kylie, go with your gut ... play it safe with a beige. You can always add color with art, towels, etc.
