Shower Curtain for Shower underneath stairs
June 23, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I need some ideas for a shower curtain. I cannot use a regular shower curtain because my tub/shower is underneath stairs (see attached pictures), and one of the walls is on an angle.

I currently use hooks to try to keep the shower curtain up but it doesn't really work and I need a resolve this.

Please send me any ideas on how to hang a shower curtain for my shower.

Maybe you could try adding a shower curtain rod like you would hang drapery. So, up high from one side of the wall to the other. That way it covers everything up giving the illusion of a standard shower. Does that make sense? :)

What about of if those sheet of glass doors that cover only the first half or 2/3 and hing out and in to get in? You could get it cut to fit the angle exactly, and it would look nice.

Mount a rod on the outsized wall that hides that angle and hang the curtain inside the tub. Add a second curtain over it that is decorative and hangs on the outside of the tub.

A custom hinged glass door on the angle side and a fixed panel of glass on the other would solve it.
