Has anyone tried to use Stikwood on kitchen cabinets? Have only see it put on walls but have to wonder if it would give old cabinets a face life?

It's a creative idea - I like it! I checked out the Stikwood site for some more info. They simply suggest that you apply it to a clean, smooth surface. Obviously a room like a bathroom that gets steamy can cause problems. If you have cabinets above your stove or sink you may want to think about that.

I think you are right about the bathroom steam and immediately above your my case that doesn't apply...I've glued bead board to my master bathroom cabinets to match the bead board around the master bedroom and have had no problems...probably depends on the surface of the old cabinets. I'm thinking I might give it a try. Thanks DD for your comments!

Go for it then! I think it's a really great look. Please keep us up to date with the progress - I'd love to see the finished project.
