Want to put frosted glass in my raised panel oak cabinets. Should I?
June 28, 2013 in Polls
I am changing my counters and want to update the cabinets. I thought the fastest/easiest way would be to add glass fronts to my uppers. I have used tracing paper to mimic the glass, although it looks more white than opaque. I will show current cabinets and what it might look like with the glass. My other chnage will be re-designing the bar top a bit.

Hi! Have you made a decision on what you should do with your cabinets?

I have decided to go ahead and use a lightly frosted glass on the 7 tall uppers, use the Corian sorrell for the main level counters. I am now thinking to have my 2 sided bar top counters covered ( slightly changing corner shape from angled to curved) with a stainless steel finish to be more dramatic. I have a tumbled stone basket weave for the back splash in very light colors of white, grey, tan, with soem blue to pick up all the colors and still tie into the cabinets. Thanks for asking. I should not have made this a poll ,so i went back and put it in the discussion section as a design dilemma. Thanks for your interest. I am very excited to get going on it.
