Route drywall for mirror and then install edging and then tile?

You mean the installer placed the mirror as if it were a piece of tile?

it looks like the mirror was glued in place and then tiled around it so it has a built-in look

Hi Donna, The mirror was glued to the drywall, then the Bisazza tile was applied around it so it looks built in. The tile is a very thin glass tile so we didn't have to build out the mirror at all.
