Embrace the arches and keep it light, but add some contrast. Paint every wall with an arch in it fresh white, all ceilings too. Paint the adjecent walls a soft color. For example; when you keep the kitchen tile, you could paint the walls above it a soft pink or mauve.

I see three open areas, so you could divide those with three soft colors and white inbetween. Keep most lights simple and functional, uplights will enhance the arches, glass pendants will add warmth.

And I think a soft olive or sage green is a great color for a living room.

Mauve and green are a great combination, especially with wood.

What is your style, and what are you looking for in this space?
Also, adding some pictures of your kitchen will help, too!

i think u could go for a stenciled ceiling having pale blue with sea green designs, leave the portions beneath the archways white. Keep the walls green as suggested by rinqreation preferably one shade darker. The doors could be varnished with some deep wooden shade. Some picture of a large Mandala or an abstract ( Should have shades of turquoise and darker shade of sea green) above the sofa. To keep the continuity you could use some shades of blue in your kitchen .
