What color siding would make this brick disappear?

We are planning a second floor addition, and will be using cement board siding for the addition. We don't love this orangey 1960's brick, but can't find room in the budget to change it. What color of siding could we use to blend with the brick? We don't like dark brown, and do like green tones or taupes/beiges. Also, we will be building more substantial craftsman posts on a new front entrance. Should we use a stone on the base of those? If so, what color stone would work best?

Thanks!

An architect. Is the color of materials something that an architect would normally recommend?

Yes, they do.

One of my neighbors has this color brick and the paint their siding a warm beige. The have a light green door. I think hefty posts in a dark wood stain with stone bases would look good.

This house is close to your brick: Exterior 1 and Exterior 2.
