Hi there imm moving to my new apartment and i want to repaint the walls.
i m thinking about a teal7greenish blue colour for the staircase wall (see in the pic) and a yellow/lime for the tv wall.
Honestly i'm kind of struggling with that..i need help! which colours will be better? Any advice will be helpful ! Thank you guys a lot

If you're renting, you'd better check with your landlord first.

I would rec. you keep stairs black. Stairs take a lot of abuse & black will be easier to touch-up.

Lime green and teal seem at odds with your current furniture. What look are you going for?
This hard floor is really crying for a rug to warm up the room. You could also introduce some color with chair cushions.

please post some more pictures.

I'm thinking not. Those colors are too strong for a small space. If you're renting you need to concentrate on putting your money in things you can take with you. If you like bright colors then buy wild colored pillows and throws or even a rug. Don't waste your time or money on something you can't take with you when you move.

Is the furniture yours? If so you should definitely change the arrangement over the sofa. Do a wall of baskets. Hang them starting at 6 inches over your sofa and go up from there.

I have to agree with above. When renting, you often have to overlook things you may not like as much or you are putting money into items you get no return on, but landlord does.

You have table & chair right by sofa. Is that all the space you have? Where is kitchen? Placement of furniture, colourful decor will go a long way to creating a unique nest for you.

If you can paint and really want the teal, I would paint the TV wall the teal as there is minimal wall and it will make that TV unit pop out. I would paint the rest of the walls a light gray. I would add some accent color of orange in pillows, and art.

Paint is the last thing you should be thinking about. You need a rug to soften the tile flooring.

Thank you for the ideas guys. This is my beach house i bought it with so many efforts and the furniture will go away so i need to buy those things.that's why i wanted to give it a lil change by changing just colours cause really i dont have so much money to spend even to hire someone.
The kitchen is where you see the treatements at the right so its a separate room.
Just wanna have a pop of colour and let MY house alive again! :)
I'll be uploading new pic tomorrow of you guys need cause i will go there
