I am trying to accent my master bedroom wall. I'm stuck between two, same design just one is a darker color. The bed will be against the wall with the wall paper. Option 1-light option 2-dark
The bed color is called Pearl.

I like them both, but I think I'm leaning towards lighter one.

I agree with westmanmarine. I think the lighter option has a beautiful, calming feel. Very beautiful!
You could use the darker grey colour in the paper in some throw cushions on the bed too.

I like the darker paper. Do a search on houzz photos for wallpapered bedrooms. See which appeals to you most, softer blended colors or more contrast.

Bonjour, if the rest of the things in the bedroom are light go with the darker one, It will make an acccent otherwise it might blend in to much.

I like contrast so my vote would be for the darker one!

I would also go with the lighter paper for a masters bedroom.

I'm such a sucker for upholstered and tufted headboards, and yours is BEAUTIFUL! Love it. Can you tell me who makes it?

I think that either of the choices could work, depending on your style and what else is going into the room.

If you are transistional, I'd probably go with the higher contrast choice (with darkish linens and a modern accent color).

If you're more straight traditional, I would definitely choose the soft contrast paper.

Can't wait to see your finished room.

Love dark but I am high contrast as well. Paper is fab. Who is it by?

I like both papers, but are you going to keep the carpet? It looks like it is a beige/tan color. If you have to keep the carpet you could use the darker paper and add a dark throw rug.

Thanks for the ideas! I too love the light color and I was thinking I could always throw some dark accents with bedding. The bed is from zgallerie. The wallpaper brand is opulence.

Both would look lovely, but as Brenda mentioned, your personal style and accent color preferences will be the big determining factors.

Other things to consider, are you wallpapering ENTIRE room, or just your headboard wall? Also the other colors in your room. Like other people have mentioned you need to figure out your style if you like something mores subtle or more dramatic - your decision will lie in those answers.

No just the wall behind the bed. then I wanted to paint a soft color off one of the papers for the rest of the room.
