I am a big fan of the entire wall behind the bed covered in drapes, for drama - but you still can let in light when needed. This way, it does not matter where the window is positioned behind the bed, because the whole wall is unified by the drapes.

You might consider a top down bottom up shade so that when you want to look out the window, you drop the top down, but your bed is still covered. I don't have a photo of your situation, but below I've shown how the top down bottom up looks like.
