Adding under cabinet lights

A big oops here! Kitchen redo and we love it but really thought we wouldn't want under cabinet lights. That was a dumb move, in an otherwise smart redo.

We have room for slim under cabinet lights and the light housing wouldn't show under the cabinets. I'll be glad to attach pics if needed.

Anyone do this? Brands of lights? Best for retrofits? Ones you like?

We'll need to get an electrician in to do,the work and I'm concerned if we can even do it at this point.

what you want is LED undercounter "tape" or "strip" lighting

Thanks! It looks very easy to put up. Any particular brands that you - or anyone- has used and has done well? I am also wondering how we plug it in- add extra outlet? Sources? I didn't see it listed at Lowes or the other places we've purchased fixtures, lights, bulbs, etc.
