It appears to be a faux finish with glaze, but the color is similar to Benjamin Moore's ebony slate.

I think it's Venetian plaster. The reflective look is from the marble dust used in the plaster.

Hi There.....Both answers are pretty close!! It is venetain plaster, but the reflective quality that venetian plaster has on its own because of the waxing process, was expanded upon, by adding a mica powder into the wax, thats where that silvery quality comes from.....while ebony slate is a dark gray color, I used Ben Moores Days End as the color to work off of.....on a large scale, the ebony slate has more of a "purple/brown" tone to it....hope this helps.....

Hi Tiffany, I absolutely ADORE what you have done here it's so classy. I see there is a dividing rail running around the wall is that also covered on the venetian plaster or was this added afterwards and painted? Are both walls above and below the rail plastered I can't make it out? Many Thanks, Angelina

I just saw this question!! sorry! The drapery fabric is actually a metallic mesh fabric that I bought in the garment district in nyc....its very sexy in person because it is somewhat unexpected and almost has a slinky quality to it......if you notice, there is a huge puddle of the fabric on the floor which was needed in order for it to hang properly....

Tiffany: l love the Venetian plaster in this room. Can you eleborate on the mica powder you added to wax for silvery look? Trying for something similar.
Thx so much.
