What is the island material?

I love the island and would like one this long but can’t find a piece of quartz or quartzite big enough to do this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In our area (Houston, Tx) - we have several places that provide beautiful natural quartz (quartzite) such as: Aria Stone Gallery, Walker Zanger and Thorntree (just to name a few). I'm not sure what your budget is - but they typically have a great array of options as well as beautiful slabs.
