Just bought a mid century house and need to do a complete backyard overhaul. Overhangs, planters, decking, remove diving board platforms and replace with water feature.... There is a front enclosed patio with fire pit and social area. So back should be more about pool and relaxing.

LOVE the pool!!! Since it appears there is not alot of room between the house and the pool I would remove the metal awning and go with a wood structure the length of the concrete. Another option would be to add a concrete pad extension to the end of the pool and then add a nice wooden structure.
