wanting to redo (down to the studs) small master bath
newgpa

We want to completely redo our master bath (built in the mid-90's). We are going to remove the tub and enclosure, and just have a tile shower. And everything else will be to the studs and rebuilt. We will have to replace drywall because of poor paint job/wallpaper before we moved in. Dimensions are 9 x 7.5 (to the door) and 5.8 to one wall and 5.3 to linen closet.

I totally agree that starting from scratch will be the best solution for you. The walk in shower will be a huge upgrade to the space and make it feel bigger. I'd consider moving that small closet behind the door as well. Either open that up and loose the door that interferes with the main entrance or close it up and put a linen closet elsewhere.
Are you planning on taking on the work yourself or hiring out a professional?
