What can I do to stop my couches from sliding ?
July 20, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I just bought couches for my living room which has hardwood flooring. I put felt pads on the bottom of the legs of the couch to prevent scratching the floor. Now the couches slide very easily and move off of where they are suppose to be. I do have an area rug, but I don't want to put the couches on it. Any suggestions on how to keep the couches in place? Is there a product I don't know about?

If the sofas are near to a wall - a piece of 2"x2" cut to the distance you want the sofa to sit at - can be placed behind the leg to the wall - this stops it from flying back every time someone throws the self on the sofa !!
