I have some clients that are dealing with almost the exact same issue. We made the changes to the landscape by adding some pavers and natural stone. We also put a lot of color in the plants. It was very helpful for the builder too. We are working on the outdoor living design for them also, our staff should have that done in a few days.

Agree landscaping would help. Interested to see your look for back. We will face water & woods. Not wanting to obstruct view but wanting to expand. Pergola - fire pit off extension in back. Ours will also have a balcony overlooking back scenery.
Hence the reason we picked this neighborhood , was the view.

Really don't want so much stucco. My daughters 1rst comment when viewing neighborhood was"Do all the houses have to basically look alike?" :(

It is unlikely that the builder will put stone on the second floor gables so you should check with them before you get your heart set on anything. It would look nice to have a pergola over the front door and walkway. I am assuming that the house under construction photo is your home and I'm thinking that stone around the four windows would look very nice and then extend it onto the patio floor. A pergola extending from the edge of the house into the yard and making the patio larger would also look very nice. Looks like a wonderful house.

Yes, no support for stone/brick above. Has a brick apron on this house.

Also thoughts on smooth or texture stucco for above??
