I get so much inspiration from houzz! I'd like to know the best thing you've learned or been inspired by on houzz that you've ACTUALLY USED IN YOUR HOME. Big or small, share your favorites!

I'll start. The best thing I've learned on houzz is a small thing: the "rule" of hanging curtains "high and wide."

Your turn!

Hanging outdoor curtains on the covered patio using steel cable and turnbuckle "rod" through eyebolts / diy rod thru stainless eyebolts from home depot for pennies on outdoor rod prices / and being stunned at the reality of the promised impact on how the space feels w this simple addition.
