garage door... drama?

we are building a new home & getting mixed advice as to how we should choose a garage door. it is in view from the entrance of our new home & the road, so we think it should be a nice feature. we have otherwise been advised to choose a door that blends in. we are confused as to which way to go & what to expect to pay.

If your garage door can be seen from the front of our your house, we would definitely recommend you spend a little extra and get a nicer garage door. Without knowing the style or price point of your house, it's hard to give you specific info on pricing and design. But, we think your feeling that the garage door should be a nice feature is definitely on the right track.

It depends on how the house is designed. Do you have any elevation drawings showing the front of the house?
