want a freestanding whirlpool bathtub for under $4000

I've been searching for a freestanding whirlpool tub, but haven't found any under $4000. Any suggestions? If beggars can be choosers, I'd prefer one that is modern, oval, and white. Thanks!!!

ARIEL (http://www.arielbath.com/) make lower priced ones ($2kish). I have never used one nor heard tell of their quality though.

Freestanding tubs are one thing. Freestanding whirlpools needs to get all the piping into the freestanding tub in a visually pleasing way. That costs.

Try Wyndham, Maxx and Dreaworks. They each make a number of free standing tubs. Not quite the elegance of your preferred selection, but half of or less than half of the cost. Most available at Home Depot.

Costco carries one considerably less expensive that we used in our recent renovation. Hope this pic shows you what you need to see. It's comes in in two pieces, but "shows" very smoothly. We love it. Good luck.

We have plenty of time. We are building a house & making selections pre-construction. Thanks for everyone's help.

@RVCW, I think it depends on the model. Some are stock items, as they frequently sell, others special order. Call them directly to get that explanation.
